Key Accounts Manager

Austral Wright Metals has been a leading metals distributor in Australia for more than 20 years. With non-ferrous manufacturing origins for over 70 years prior to this, it means we know metals and the industry better than most, and we are seeking a dynamic Key Accounts Manager to join our team in South Australia and help build on our success.

Reporting to the SA Service Centre Manager, you will be responsible for driving growth with our key account partners across SA / NT, trend analysis, sales forecasting & setting the tone for the market!

Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience in a key account management role, preferably within the metals or manufacturing industry, but if you have a background in sales and supporting key accounts in the B2B environment, we encourage you to apply.
• Motivation to provide best in class customer service, build relationships & gain success through mutually beneficial growth with our partners.
• Passion & energy in influencing and driving growth in the business.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret market trends.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Prepared to travel to the Northern Territory as part of an ongoing call cycle.
• Ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies in a competitive market.
• Proficiency in forecasting and pricing strategies.
• Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
