About us
We are looking for a Kitchen Manager for our Processing Facility in Salisbury, Brisbane. This person will be a key member of the Operations team with responsibility for the day-to-day production.
Your exceptional leadership experience will develop team performance through training, and development, and performance management to deliver compliance to safety, quality, and cost standards.
Qualifications & experience
- Excellent leadership skills, leading from the front in a hands on style.
- Experience meeting Food Safety, GMP, HACCP, Internal and External Auditing requirements.
- Logical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Planning and organising.
- Mechanical aptitude and experience highly regarded.
- Computer skills - Microsoft Office.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Manage clear expectations for the team, provide appropriate resources and tools to get the job done.
- Identify and actively promote continuous improvement to product, processes and systems within any facet of the work environment.
- Ensure food safety and quality requirements are adhered to.
- Train and mentor team members in various processes and equipment operations.
- Provide hands-on leadership, coaching, and mentoring to foster a high-performance culture.
- Address concerns related to product quality, safety, or processes promptly.
- Perform any other duties as reasonably required or directed.
- Hold regular Toolbox Meetings to cover departmental and site communications.
