Job Description - L2 Support Engineer

L2 Support Engineer, 3-month contract, Western SydneyL2 Support Engineer - 3-Month Contract (Western Sydney)
Location: Western Sydney. Contract Length: 3 months. Start Date: ASAP
Are you an experienced Level 2 Support Engineer with strong networking and computer systems knowledge? We're looking for a hand-on professional to join our client for a three-month assignment providing high-quality technical support across a busy environment in Western Sydney.
What you'll be doing

Providing Level 2 technical support across desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripheral equipment
Troubleshooting and resolving networking issues (Wi-Fi, switches, routers, VPN, firewalls)
Managing escalations from Level 1 support and ensuring timely resolution
Supporting Windows environments, Office 365, and common enterprise applications
Performing system checks, patching, and routine maintenance
Assisting with hardware replacements, imaging, and configuration
Documenting incidents, fixes, and processes in the ticketing system

What we're looking for

Proven experience in an L2 support or similar technical support role
Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows OS, hardware, and software
Solid understanding of network fundamentals-TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs
Experience with Office 365, Active Directory, and remote support tools
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Availability to start at short notice
