Job Description - L2 Support Engineer

Must Have Skills:

• Strong hands-on L2
support experience with IAM applications (Forgerock / Ping)

• Experience with
ForgeRock stack (Directory Services, FRIM, FRIG)

• Proficiency in
Groovy scripting

• Solid
understanding of Java (debugging, minor enhancements)

• Experience with
Kubernetes and containerized environments

• Hands-on
experience with mTLS, OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and SAML

• Experience with
Splunk and New Relic for monitoring and log analysis

• Familiarity with
Codefresh and GitHub Actions for CI/CD

• Knowledge of
Incapsula (Imperva) or similar WAF solutions

•
Strong understanding of IAM, security protocols, and authentication flows

Detailed Job Description:

Roles and responsibilities:

• Provide Level 2 support for IAM platforms including Ping AM (Access Management) and ForgeRock stack

• Monitor, triage, and resolve production issues related to authentication, authorization, and identity lifecycle

• Support and maintain ForgeRock Directory Services (DS) environments

• Manage configurations and troubleshooting for FRIM (ForgeRock IM) and FRIG (ForgeRock IG)

• Develop and maintain Groovy scripts for customization and automation

• Implement and troubleshoot mTLS (Mutual TLS) and secure communication channels

• Investigate issues using monitoring tools like Splunk and New Relic

• Support Kubernetes-based deployments and containerized IAM workloads

• Assist with CI/CD pipelines using Codefresh and GitHub Actions

• Work with Incapsula (Imperva WAF) for traffic filtering, security rules, and troubleshooting

• Perform Java-based debugging and minor code enhancements

• Participate in incident management, RCA, and problem management

• Collaborate with security and infrastructure teams to ensure compliance with security best practices

• Support release deployments and environment stability across Dev/Test/Prod
