Labourer - Commercial Construction

Alder Group have a deep-rooted presence in the Gold Coast market for building community projects which stand the test of time! We have been successfully delivering Construction projects for 22 years and as we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled labourer to join our dynamic build team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial construction, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work well in a team environment.

The successful candidate will be working on a diverse range of commercial construction projects across the beautiful Gold Coast which range in value from $5m - $50m+.

About the role

• Undertake various on-site labouring duties as determined by the site management team
• Including: Housekeeping, amenities cleaning, dewatering, access ways management, use of hand and powered tools, movement of materials, mobile plant operations
• Assist with organisation of direct labour and ensure that it is used efficiently to achieve Project goals.
• Assist with co-ordination of onsite hire equipment
• Develop and promote good communications between all levels of staff, employees and sub-contractors on Site
• Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

About You - Skills and Experience

• Proven experience as a labourer in commercial construction.
• Ability to operate construction equipment and tools safely.
• Ability to perform onsite manual labour.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
