  • Available to you will be working a 9-day fortnight with RDOs every second week

Are you keen to deliver positive outcomes to communities, stakeholders and landholders in support of renewable energy projects? Powerlink is continuing to grow as we experience a once in a lifetime change in the energy industry.

 

We are looking for multiple new Project Officers to join our Landholder Relations team. In this field-based role, you will work closely with our Landholder Relations Advisors, collaborating to support Powerlink's capital and maintenance projects. Your efforts will be key in maintaining and enhancing our relationships with landholders, ensuring our projects are well-received and beneficial to all stakeholders.

 

What this looks like on a daily basis;

 

  • Plan and schedule land access and community engagement activities
  • Assist in creating strong, respectful, and lasting relationships with landholders, ensuring timely access for project activities
  • Collect land-related input from landholders for various project processes
  • Contribute to strategies for addressing complex or sensitive landholder and land access issues
  • Maintain accurate records of landholder contacts to support project reporting and knowledge sharing
  • Manage Powerlink's subcontractors to meet business and landholder commitments and expectations

Your expertise

 

  • A degree in environment or social science, communications, archaeology or surveying is advantageous
  • Ability to engage and influence stakeholders to achieve balanced outcomes
  • Strong organisational skills to set priorities, meet deadlines, and keep accurate records
  • Background in land management, development industries, or field infrastructure construction is highly advantageous
  • Experience working in remote or rural areas, with a solid understanding of rural land practice
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, with the emotional intelligence to build and sustain relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders
