What are we looking for?

Our National Work + Road team is growing, and we are now seeking a Law Clerk to join our Queensland team in our Brisbane or Maroochydore office on a full time basis. As a valued member of this team, you will help support our Lawyers advance our clients Workers Compensation claims.


Your energy and drive will be integral in achieving successful outcomes along with your positive approach to your work. Some of the key responsibilities will include:

• Review, analyse and summarise documentation
• Drafting legal correspondence
• Preparing court documents and briefs when required
• Ensuring compliance with relevant rules and regulations
• Working closely with the legal teams to advance legal matters for clients

To be successful in this role our ideal candidate will have a proven ability to empathise with our clients whilst maintaining a high level of professionalism. The following attributes and skills will ensure your ongoing success:

• Exposure to Workers Compensation or similar personal injury matters
• Ability to exercise judgement and resolve problems
• A natural passion for helping people and high level of empathy
• Exceptional experience in communication and customer service
• Excellent written and drafting skills
• Recognise the importance of attention to detail and time management
• Demonstrated organisational skills and the ability to multi-task
• Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment
• Available to work 38 hours per week, between the hours of 8:30am - 5pm Monday to Friday
