We have an exciting opportunity for a Law Graduate to join our Commercial Insurance (Professional Indemnity) team in Brisbane working for David Kerwin.

About the team and the work

• The team has extensive experience in all major lines of insurance, litigation, regulatory investigations and claims against directors and officers, financial institutions, and professionals particularly in the financial and construction sectors.
• Clients include major Australian and London market insurers, brokers, and underwriters, as well as multinational and national policy holders / insureds – including SMEs. The team acts for businesses and high net worth individuals in commercial disputes.
• You will be responsible for assisting senior lawyers with investigations into matters, liaising with key stakeholders, advisory work, drafting reports and advice writing, undertaking key stages in formal litigation, file management and matter progression.
• Work alongside and learn from leading Australian insurance lawyers in a high-performing, supportive, and collaborative team environment.
• This is a dynamic role offering hands-on experience across a broad and diverse case mix.

About you

• You will have previous Paralegal experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability.
• You will have graduated and be able to start as a full-time graduate immediately.
