About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lawyer to join our Wills and Estates Team. This is a full-time, permanent position based in our Melbourne office with a hybrid flex working model.

Reporting to the Victorian Estate Litigation Leader and supported by a broader team, you will have involvement in:

• Conducting initial client conferences
• Day to day management of files
• Preparing briefs to counsel
• Instruct counsel at mediations and Supreme Court Hearings
• Support the team Leader on all matter management and the achievement of financial and non-financial KPI’s
• Market our products and services to new and existing referrers
• Support and coach the support team
• Regular domestic travel to meet clients

The experience we are looking for

• Ideally you will have 2+ years PAE within a Litigation environment
• Excellent technical skills and focus
• Strong client and relationship building skills
• Strong client service focus and a passion for helping people
• Excellent organisation skills and an ability to multi-task
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to provide leadership and guidance to the wider team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
