About the Role

Busy Bees at Belmont is seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Educator to join our buzzing Hive in Belmont, VIC. Our beautiful 124-place service offers a dynamic environment where you'll lead room practices and guide educators to deliver exceptional early learning experiences.

Your key responsibilities:

• Support and lead a team of educators to deliver high-quality education and care

• Maintain documentation and planning aligned with the EYLF and NQS

• Role model positive guidance, inclusive practice, and family engagement

• Collaborate with the Educational Leader to uplift team pedagogy

• Ensure health, safety, and compliance practices are embedded in daily routines

What You’ll Need

• A Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA equivalent)

• At least 12 months experience in a Lead Educator or senior Educator role

• Current VIC Working With Children Check (Employee)

• Valid First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications

• Sound knowledge of the NQS, EYLF, and documentation frameworks

• Strong mentoring and communication skills
