Lead Engineer

Responsibilities

1. Work as extension of the Innovation team working closely with the Partners and Exo Directors to incubate ideas, accelerate and scale deliveries
2. Guide the design, development, and deployment of our game-changing AI and IoT solutions
3. Write high-performing, efficient code primarily in Golang, establishing industry benchmarks
4. Collaborate with a cross-functional team to ensure our tech solutions meet market needs and deliver an exceptional user experience
5. Build and lead an elite engineering team, nurturing an environment of innovation and excellence
6. Leverage AWS to construct robust, scalable, and secure infrastructure for our trailblazing solutions
7. Influence our strategic planning, driving the future of our organization and the industry

Requirements

1. Minimum 5 years of experience as a software engineer, with substantial experience in scaling projects and managing teams
2. Proficiency in Golang and a deep understanding of its ecosystems
3. Extensive experience with AWS, CI/CD tools and its offerings such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS
4. Design, build and scale API and event driven distributed systems
5. Develop user interfaces using HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, NodeJS and React
6. Exposure to AI and IoT technologies and their practical applications
7. Ability to manage priorities, make strategic decisions, and deliver on challenging deadlines
8. Whiteboard problems in a group setting and apply the scientific method to finding a pragmatic solution
9. Use system monitoring tools and automated testing frameworks
10. Exceptional problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to produce high-quality work under pressure
