Lead, Workers Compensation Claims

Lead a team that helps people navigate some of the most challenging moments of their working lives. As Lead, Workers Compensation Claims within our intermediate Insurance Australia Business (IIA), you’ll bring together people leadership, technical expertise and a focus on great customer outcomes to create a high performing and supportive team environment. You'll coach and develop claims professionals, drive performance, and help shape the way work gets done. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact every day while building capability, strengthening relationships and contributing to the success of a collaborative leadership team within our IIA business.  

This is a permanent full-time role based in Boorloo (Perth). 
 

What You'll Do 
 
 

• 
  

  Lead, coach and develop a team of Workers Compensation Claims professionals to deliver strong customer, people and business outcomes.  

  
  

• 
  

  Foster a supportive and high performing team culture where people feel empowered, engaged and motivated to succeed.  

  
  

• 
  

  Drive operational performance by managing workloads, monitoring results and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.  

  
  

• 
  

  Partner with fellow leaders to share resources, solve challenges and ensure consistent service across the broader claims function.  

  
  

• 
  

  Support the development of team capability through regular coaching, feedback and career development conversations.  

  
  

• 
  

  Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver positive and sustainable claims outcomes.
