About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced people leader to lead a team within our Personal Injury Insurance business. You will be responsible for creating an inclusive, high-performing environment where team members feel supported to grow, develop and deliver quality outcomes for customers. Working across operational and strategic priorities, you will guide performance, strengthen capability and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance both customer and business outcomes.

 

What You'll Do:

  • Lead, coach and develop a team of claims professionals to achieve performance and customer outcomes.
  • Monitor team performance and identify opportunities to improve quality, productivity and engagement.
  • Partner with technical and injury management specialists to support capability development.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
  • Support the delivery of strategic initiatives and continuous improvement activities.
  • Create an inclusive team culture that prioritises wellbeing, collaboration and accountability.

What You'll Bring:

  • Experience leading people or demonstrated capability to motivate, develop and engage others.
  • Knowledge of workers compensation claims management, ideally within the NSW scheme.
  • Experience working with insurers, scheme agents, icare or related industry stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyse performance data and translate insights into practical actions.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across a range of audiences.
  • Confidence managing competing priorities in a changing operational environment.
