The opportunity We have a rare opportunity for someone who is committed to supporting leaders to reach their full potential, to join QBE on a 12 Month Fixed-Term Contract. As a Leadership Development Consultant you will support the implementation of our Global Leadership program as well as facilitating and delivering learning solutions to new and aspiring leaders in the AUSPAC Region. Consistent with our operating model, during your time you are likely to have the opportunity to collaborate broadly with all members of our Organisational Development and Employee Experience (ODEX) team to implement solutions across our Region.

Your new role Working alongside the Regional Head of Leadership and Talent Development, t he Leadership Development Consultant plays a key role in the delivery and execution of leadership learning initiatives across the Region. Working within established program frameworks, you will focus on translating learning designs into high-quality participant experiences through effective coordination, facilitation support, stakeholder engagement and continuous improvement. This is a hands-on delivery role, partnering closely within ODEX , People Business Partners, Internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure learning solutions are implemented smoothly, consistently and on time.
Initial focus will be to support the implementation of QBE's Global Leadership program in the AUSPAC Region. In addition, you will facilitate and deliver existing programs to People Leaders and Aspiring Leaders. During the fixed term contract, you could also work on projects in our Talent Development, Learning and Culture teams.

About you To be successful in this role, you will have proven experience facilitating learning activities for People Leaders and possess a strong ability to read the room and adapt to changing needs, fostering a productive and motivated learning environment. Additionally, you are proficient in creating and delivering reports with clear narratives on learning outcomes and areas of improvement.
You will also have:
- Experience in designing, developing, and implementing leadership development programs, including instructional design and facilitation.
- Track record of translating global and local People ambitions into tangible and relevant learning outcomes.
- Commercially focused and pragmatic approach to delivering learning/career development and improved employee experience outcomes.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills that engage and inspire any type of audience.
- Strong analytical skills enable you to interpret feedback data and provide strategic recommendations.
- The ability to ask insightful questions that trigger reflection and deeper learning.
