What’s the role?

As the Leading Hand - Maintenance your position will be to provide continuity of operations, safety and compliance of all activities in line with scope requirements for Residential & Village Maintenance.  You will cover the R&R periods for the Site Building Maintenance Supervisors at Amrun & Weipa doing 1 week at each site. 

• Effectively manage approved works by meeting contract terms & stakeholder expectations
• Ensure completion of Preventative and Reactive works are achieved within KPI’s
• Provide approval of invoicing and capital / operational expenditure in line with your delegation of authority.
• Work in partnerships with all stakeholders to ensure positive outcomes and high standards of work

Qualifications and Experience:

• Trade qualification
• Demonstrated experience in a supervisory/leading hand role in a Maintenance environment
• Experience in ensuring compliance to PM schedules
• Experience with managing budgets and cost centres
• Demonstrated contributions to improvement in safety
• White Card
• First Aid - HLTAID003 (desirable)
• Open Drivers Licence
