About you

• Team Leadership experience, able to provide supervision and assist with the coordination of the workshop team to achieve goals
• Experience in operating and maintaining the CNC machine, machining with steel fabrication and stainless steel.
• Experience with machinery and tooling such as lathes, guillotines, press brake, drill press and hand tools.
• Fabrication skill advantageous
• Forklift Ticket (desirable) 
• Familiarity with Inventor software (desirable)
• High attention to detail
• Have an excellent work ethic.
• Excellent relationship skills and works well in a team environment.
• Good time management and prioritisation 
• Ability to read and follow drawings and to work to tight tolerances  
• Want to be part of a culture of learning and continuous improvement
• Always observe and maintain a high level of safety. 
• Be dedicated and reliable with a “can do” attitude, willing to commit to the role
• Trade qualifications also advantageous
• Complete pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol testing

Role Responsibilities  

• Processing of materials in preparation for fabrication, including reading & interpreting cut list, shop drawings & part list. 
• Co-ordinate & work in a team environment.
• Maintain & use equipment as designed.
• Ensure that work is performed as per job instructions to a high-quality standard and completed in the specified time frames.
• Assist in the management of a harmonious environment, team building & training of apprentices & other employees as required.
• Adherence to company procedures.
• Provide direction and support to workers to achieve set goals
