Partner of personal injury litigation practice is looking for a new legal and administrative assistant. Candidates should be familiar with plaintiff personal injury practice in Western Australia and have high organisational and client service skills. Ideal candidates will be familiar with District Court eLodgment and procedures.

You will be working under the supervision of a partner of the firm in a friendly, supportive but busy plaintiff litigation firm.

Client and Matter Management

You will

Coordinate and carry out all matter and client management tasks relevant to the efficient running of a plaintiff litigation legal practice including
Drafting precedent and novel correspondence
Drafting template court documents
Keeping litigation diary
Providing updates to clients on claims progress by post, telephone and email
Assist clients with enquiries
Collecting medical and lay evidence

Skills

Excellent verbal and written communication
Organised and able to meet deadlines
Strong interpersonal skills to facilitate daily interaction with lawyers, doctors, paralegals, staff, clients, opposing counsel, judicial personnel, vendors and other third parties.
