Our client is a high-profile, ASX-listed Australian business operating in a fast-paced, dynamic consumer facing industry.

About the role

In this newly created role, you will be part of a small team working closely with the business to ensure best practice compliance with competition and consumer law obligations. Reporting to a Senior Legal Counsel, you will be involved in a range of matters, including:

• Reviewing advertising/marketing material and online content for compliance with competition and consumer law obligations.
• Developing, implementing and delivering interactive training for colleagues from a wide range of backgrounds to ensure compliance with consumer law obligations.
• Supporting consumer facing teams and providing accurate advice to support high quality customer experience.

About you

You will be a competition and consumer lawyer with approximately 3 years’ PQE. Some experience in a well-regarded private practice firm is preferred, and any experience advising clients in highly regulated, consumer-facing industries would be an advantage.
