Job Description - Level 3 Helpdesk Engineer

A leading National Managed Service Provider based in Melbourne's Inner South requires a Level 3 Helpdesk Engineer for a permanent opportunity commencing immediately. The company promotes a collaborative and supportive work environment, offering exposure to leading technologies and ongoing career development opportunities.

Your new role
In this exciting new role, you will be:
  • Providing 3rd level remote and onsite support for clients.
  • Supporting a broad range of clients to resolve high level IT issues escalated within the Service Desk.
  • Performing technical support of servers, network and hardware.
  • Assisting with the delivery of infrastructure projects.
  • Delivering a high level of customer service and communication.
  • Handling escalations, whilst mentoring and training of Level 1 & Level 2 Service Desk Engineers.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in your application, you will need:
  • Demonstrated experience in providing level 3 IT support.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, VMware / Hyper-V, Office 365, Exchange, SharePoint, Azure / AWS and Network troubleshooting.
  • Highly developed troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Autotask and ConnectWise is highly advantageous.
  • A tertiary education in Information Technology as well as Microsoft, Fortinet, Cisco, CompTIA A+ and VMware certifications are beneficial.
  • Proven experience working within a Managed Service Provider or Consultancy.
  • Current driver's license and access to a car.
