Are you passionate about making a difference in people’s lives? Join UnitingCare and be part of this exciting opportunity. UnitingCare Gold Coast Homelessness Service provides support to clients who have been long term homelessness and as such are now residing at Bryant Place.
Bryant Place assists them with addressing their housing barriers, connect them with a support Network and together work towards sustainable long-term housing solution.
The role involves supporting each of the 12 residents with developing their independent living skills. This will involve support with self-confidence, assertiveness, resolving conflict, as well as teaching our clients to prepare meals for themselves as well as providing emotional support.
In this role you will also be preparing lunch and dinner meals for the 12 residents, collecting food orders from various local charities, Online ordering of food, and maintaining the kitchen and communal areas.
Although the role is typically 8.00am – 4pm Monday to Friday, there may be the requirement to work flexibly outside of these times.
