Job Description - Lifestyle Supports and Services Manager

They are currently in search of an experienced and self-motivated Lifestyle Supports and Services Manager to become a valuable member of their team in a permanent full-time role.

Responsibilities:

Oversee the development, coordination, and daily implementation of the lifestyle activity program

Manage a small team

Lead the Leisure and Lifestyle recreational program to enhance the overall wellbeing of Residents

Ensure the program aligns with evidence-based best practices

Regularly review and update Resident Lifestyle care plans

Provide feedback and escalate any changes in residents' condition/behavior to the Registered Nurse

Evaluate and adjust programs based on resident feedback and family input

Maintain open communication with Resident families or representatives

Conduct weekly Leisure and Lifestyle meetings, including agenda compilation, minute-taking, and action item follow-up

Manage and allocate activities budget

Ensure all documentation complies with Aged Care Quality Standards

Requirements

Previous experience in a similar role or Cert IV in Leisure and Lifestyle

Genuine interest in Aged Care

Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, friends, and colleagues

Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Understanding of Aged Care Quality and Safety Standards
