About The Role

Reporting to the Clinical Manager, you'll take the lead in planning and delivering an engaging lifestyle program that enriches the lives of our residents. You'll guide a team of Lifestyle Assistants, helping them create moments that matter through social, recreational, and wellness-based activities. You'll also be a key connector with the broader community - coordinating entertainment, liaising with volunteers, and building strong ties with groups such as schools, religious leaders, and service clubs.

 You’ll be involved in:

• Welcoming new residents and completing their social profiles and activity plans
• Creating monthly calendars and newsletters
• Developing and reviewing activities by consulting with residents to ensure that activities align with residents’ interests and reflect resident choice
• Supporting staff development and participating in continuous improvement initiatives

What You’ll Bring

• Certificate IV in Leisure and Health
• Demonstrated experience in diversional therapy or lifestyle programming
• 1-2 years’ experience in a Team Leader or Supervisory role
• A current National Police Check, current “C” class driver’s license and confidence in transporting residents
• Solid understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards, Code of Conduct, and Charter of Aged Care Rights
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate a small team
• Enthusiasm and creativity to enrich the lives of our residents
• A compassionate approach and empathy for older people and their families
• A high level of self-motivation, initiative and the ability to work without supervision

You'll Stand out if you have: 

• Knowledge of Autumn Care (highly regarded but not essential)
