Little Hands, Big Hearts â Intergenerational Volunteer Program
Bring your baby, toddler, or child along for a beautiful morning or afternoon of connection and kindness!
Join us in aged care to spend meaningful time with our wonderful elderly residents. Children attend with a parent or guardian and help create moments of joy through smiles, simple crafts, singing, storytelling, and gentle conversations.
Morning Session: 10:00am â 12:00pm
Afternoon Session: 1:00pm â 3:00pm
Interacting across generations builds empathy, confidence, and social skills in children â while bringing companionship, laughter, and renewed purpose to older adults. These shared moments brighten days, ease loneliness, and create memories that last a lifetime.
Come share giggles, stories, and heartwarming connections. Together, we can make a difference â one smile at a time.
Your impact
Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.
HammondCare
