We are seeking expressions of interest for a contract Caretaker opportunity at a Brisbane metropolitan residential complex.
Due to the retirement of the long-term caretaker, this opportunity has become available for the first time in 9 years – and that is no coincidence.

Whilst working reasonably autonomously, the contract Caretaker works within a team of contractor Caretakers who are based at various Body Corporate buildings throughout Brisbane. All work together to ensure the efficient and effective running of properties along with BHC’s Property Managers and a supportive wider head office team.
Accommodation and a car space would be provided to the successful contractor. Being a Live-in Caretaker allows the contractor to better facilitate an on-site presence for the community and to support resourcing the required duties.

About You
The Caretaker contract can be a very rewarding and at times challenging opportunity which requires the right combination of diplomacy, tenacity, and empathy. We require the successful contract holder to have a background property Caretaking, building management or a relevant trade.
As the services provider you will be required to have a proprietary limited company, or be willing to arrange.
You will also need to have and maintain at your own expense a mobile phone and all tools of trade reasonably necessary to carry out the requirements of the agreed services outlined above. The contract holder will also be required to obtain and/or maintain at their own expense any insurances, registrations or licenses in order to complete the contracted services, specifically including Public Liability Insurance, Personal Injury Insurance, Motor Vehicle License.
