Loan Operations Officer, Loan Operations - Dynamic Team

OCBC Bank Australia based in Sydney CBD requires a member to join their Operations team.  

The candidate will be responsible for the processing and settlement of transactions relating to loan operations and provide support in other areas of operations, such as treasury settlements, remittance, trade finance and banking operations.

Primary responsibilities within this role include:

• Effective and accurate processing of loan accounts in accordance with loan agreements and Bank policies and procedures.

           This includes, but not limited to,

• the processing of loan transactions in the core banking system and applicable registers.
• loan settlements including receipt and reconciliation of interest and fees;
• preparing letters related to settlement and loan maintenance;
• liaising with internal and external parties;
• filing
• Timely and accurate preparation of reports for local,   head office and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with other areas of Operations as required

Successful candidate is expected to have:

• At least 2 years banking experience ideally with the exposure to loan operations.  Good understanding of general banking operations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• High level of attention to detail and good time management skills
• Excellent communication
• Team player

Market based remuneration will be negotiated with the successful candidate based on qualifications, expertise and experience.
