About the Role

Rabobank's Enterprise & Operational Risk team is a dynamic & high performing team within the banks Line 2 Risk function. Within the function is our Loan Review team, an independent unit within the Risk Department. The team is dedicated to ensuring credit compliance & delivering hindsight assurance within RAG. We now have a rare opening in the team where you will be able to make a real impact on risk management & credit quality.

Top Role Accountabilities:

• Deliver high-quality credit compliance & hindsight assurance services, including reports, analysis, & checklist development.
• Systemise & manage data sources for Loan Review & hindsighting samples.
• Collaborate with front office & Credit teams to discuss findings & drive improvements.
• Prepare quarterly reports for Executive Management with actionable insights.
• Provide expert analysis on credit policy adherence, deviations, & exceptions to support targeted Internal Audit reviews.
• Achieve KPI targets for the Loan Review function.
• Conduct Country Banking Hub & Branch visits as part of Loan Reviews when required.
• Other duties as required.

To be successful you will have:

• 7+ years' experience in Commercial &/or Corporate Lending, ideally with a focus on Credit Risk Management.
• Background in Loan Audits is highly regarded.
• Strong strategic & commercial acumen with an ability to identify issues in proposals.
• Expertise in credit risk analysis techniques, accounting principles, & financial tools.
• An understanding of Trade Finance, Securitisation, & Asset-Based Finance.
• Experience in rural & commercial lending & knowledge of agribusiness industries.
• An ability to create clear, insightful reports & presentations for stakeholders.
• An ability to switch between big-picture thinking and detailed analysis as needed.
• Excellent communication skills - written, verbal, and presentation - with the ability to influence & negotiate.
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications & core banking systems.
