About The Role
We are seeking a Logistics Coordinator to support the delivery of exploration and development geology field programs across multiple sites in Australia. This role is well suited to candidates with a background in field-based exploration (e.g. Senior Field Assistant) and experience supporting field programs and site logistics.
Based in Adelaide, this is an on-the-ground role that plays a key part in coordinating field logistics, supporting safe operations, and ensuring programs are delivered efficiently and in line with environmental and stakeholder requirements.
This is a hands-on role with regular travel to remote locations, working as part of the exploration team on site. Regular interstate travel is required, including periods away from home and time spent in remote locations.
Reporting to the Senior Logistician, you will coordinate logistics across exploration activities, including:
Planning and coordinating logistics for drilling programs, including travel, accommodation, vehicles and equipment
Supporting safe and compliant field operations in line with company policies
Coordinating the movement of personnel, equipment and consumables across multiple sites
Managing sample collection, storage and transport
Supporting site rehabilitation activities and ensuring commitments to stakeholders are met
Assisting with field communications, navigation equipment and site set-up
You will work closely with geologists, contractors and site teams to ensure smooth execution of field programs.
About You
To be successful for this role, you will have:
Experience in drilling and sampling techniques and methodologies
Strong logistics coordination and planning capability within field-based operations
Experience working in remote environments, including the coordination of camp setup and operations
Experience using remote communication and navigation equipment
Valid C class driver’s licence
Required permits and certifications: Advanced First Aid (minimum), 4WD, forklift
Experience working in small teams in remote locations with limited supervision
Preferred licences or certifications: UTV, telehandler, skid steer, truck licence LR, MR or HR, drone licence, defensive driving
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and exposure to GIS software (Desirable)
Familiarity with purchasing or SAP processes (Desirable)
