Logistics Co-ordinator - Join a Market Leader

Reporting to the Logistics and Operations Manager within this rapidly growing automotive organisation, this newly created role is now available!  Based in the regional office located in Port Melbourne, working in a small team, you will be responsible for the co-ordination of all vehicles coming into Australia ready in preparation for dealership delivery.

On a day to day basis some of the tasks you can see yourself performing include the following:

• Tracking shipment arrivals of vehicles as they arrive into Australia
• Report on any shipment or vehicle impounded by Australian Customs or Quarantine Inspection
• The supervision and resolution of transit and marine insurance claims
• Monitor and report weekly on any damage to vehicles while in storage
• Monthly analysis of storage capacity and ages stock
• Provide support as required to the national dealer network
• Provide support and updates on stock status ,allocations, movements and swaps
• Liaising with key stakeholders with respect to VFO monthly process
• Support the team with vehicle shipment /PO's uploads to ERP
• Support the team with vehicle shipment posting, monthly allocation AUS, NZ, FJ
• Support the Logistics Manager in Maintaining master data in Pentana when required

This role is all about co-ordination and attention to detail!  Your keen eye for detail, passion for spreadsheets, as well epic coordination skills will see you succeed in this role.

You will need to bring the following to the table:

• Demonstrated analytical mindset
• Advanced skills in Excel
• Previous experience with an ERP system (Pentana is preferred, however not essential)
• High level of written communication (show me in your cover letter!)
• Previous experience in Auto industry would be desirable
• Understanding of Logistics is absolutely essential!
