Logistics Team Leader

Our client is a Non-for-profit organisation passionate and dedicated to providing a world-leading linen hire and laundry service throughout the greater Brisbane Region. They are currently seeking an experienced Logistics Team Leader/ HR Driver to join their team in a permanent full-time basis located in Banyo.

What You Will Be Doing

As a Logistics Team Leader you will be responsible for supporting with the supervision and management of the Logistics Team to enable efficient operation of the fleet and ensuring customer requirements are met. You will be required to work Monday to Friday on a rotating AM/PM roster. You will be responsible for the following;

Deliver and collect goods to and from clients to meet business needs

Assisting with supervision and management of the Logistics team - allocation of transport jobs, rostering, coordinating truck allocations and solving daily logistical challenges when the Logistics Coordinator is unavailable.

Raising concerns and support in resolving customer concerns

Support with ensuring a safety culture within the Logistics Team including compliance with Safe Work Procedures and the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator.

Distribute all customer orders following transport schedules to meet customer needs.

Maintain good customer relationships and promote a positive image of the organisation.

Report any issues and incidents to the Logistics Coordinator in a timely manner.

Requirements:

Experience of driving HR trucks to a schedule for 5 years

HR Truck Licence

Covid & Flu Vax (or medical exemption)

Experience of assisting with the supervision and management within Logistics

Ability to manage own time, set priorities, plan and organise work in order to meet objectives

Ability to engage with a diverse workforce

Salary packaging up to $15,900 p/a + $2,500 on meals/entertainment!

Overtime rates and penalties rates applied for afternoon shifts
