Machine Operator

We are looking for an all round machine operator.

Leyland Civil is a new small business doing earthworks in commercial building. We are looking to add to the team due to projects coming up.

Ideal Candidate is someone who: 

• Can operate skid steer and final trim
• Can operate excavator 
• Can operate loader
• Ideally has truck license
• Has understanding of reading plans and setting out building areas and heights

Tasks will include:

• Pad trims with bobcat posi track and grader blade
• Running 6 wheeler and posi track doing cleanups and general work
• Bulk earthworks using loader and excavator 
• Loading out trucks
• Installing sand pads
• Installing access tracks and driveways 
• Digging footings and services
• Trimming swales and drains 
• Manual Labour work

Primarily working south of the river

Pay rate negotiable and according to experience 

This position provides a diverse opportunity due to the size of our company, and will suit someone who wants to operate a range of machines and willing to do some labour work too.
