Machine Operator

Our client are Australia's largest processor and distributor of steel long products, including reinforcing bar, reinforcing mesh, tubular and hollow sections, merchant bar and wire products.

Zoom Recruitment are currently seeking a Machine Operator for an immediate start in our clients Port Adelaide operation. You will be responsible for Machine Operating, Crane Operating and general warehousing duties.

This role is ideal for individuals who are customer focused with a can-do attitude that enjoy working in a team environment.



Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Operation of Beam Line Machine
• Operation of a BandSaw
• Operation of a Plate Kinetic Machine
• Basic Maintenance work of Machines
• Operation of Over Head Cranes
• Basic Store Work

Requirements and Attributes:

• Forklift (LF) license (desirable)
• Crane (CB) License (desirable)
• You must have Machine Operating experience
• You must be mechanically minded
• Ability and strong desire to learn and develop multiple new skills.
• Passionate and committed to safety, understands warehouse safety practices.
• Customer Focused
• Team Player
• Communication Skills and Ability to understand and interpret instructions.

These roles are working fulltime hours, so applicants must not have any restrictions around working hours.
