The Opportunity:

We have an exciting opportunity for Machine Operators based in Marleston on Day Shift. This is a perfect role for someone who thrives on challenges and can provide practical solutions to complex problems and has the competency to run machinery and equipment.

The Accountabilities:

Setting up, operating and troubleshooting of equipment within OH&S, Quality and Performance Standards

Production activities associated within the rostered position with reasonable requests for overtime when required

Cleaning equipment and surrounding work areas

Other duties as directed within the skills and experience of the successful applicant

The ability to manual handle up to 20kg

The Ingredients for Success:

Just like you can’t make a Tim Tam without chocolate, there are a few essential ingredients we need for this role;

A strong commitment to safe working practices

A working knowledge of production and systems

Ability to work a minimum of 8 hours a day, 5 days a week 6am - 2pm

Demonstrated ability to operate various pieces of equipment in a plant

A proven history of following work instructions, procedures and policies

Effective interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal (English)

A strong commitment and demonstrated ability to meet quality and food safety standards

The ability to work independently and with minimal supervision as well as work effectively within a team environment

Demonstrate the ability to take on leadership tasks

High levels of punctuality and attendance

Able to complete a full medical and mechanical aptitude testing upon request
