Pink Lily & Fitzroy Sands Quarries – Rockhampton

Heidelberg Materials is chasing a reliable, hands‑on operator to join the crew at our Pink Lily and Fitzroy Sands quarries.

About the Role:

The position is full time with overtime as required based in Rockhampton.

The successful applicant must be able to work both independent and part of the sand production operation team.

You’ll be on the tools operating:

• Front end loaders

• Fixed and mobile sand washing and screening plants

• Excavators

• Other general quarry gear

Background and Experience required:

• Front End Loader ticket

• Excavator ticket

• Experience with plant pre‑starts, fault finding and basic maintenance

• Solid safety mindset and ability to spot hazards

• Good communication and willingness to speak up in site meetings

• HR truck licence (highly regarded, but not essential)

• Forklift ticket (highly regarded, but not essential)
