Machinery Operator

We are looking for a dedicated Machinery Operator to join our team in Avon Downs. Avon Downs is situated approximately 70km west of Camooweal, Queensland and 250km Northwest of Mount Isa.

Key Responsibilities:

• Grader operation- Maintain station roads, and fire breaks using the grading guidelines.
• Carry out General Maintenance & Upkeep of machinery.
• Truck driving (Side Tippers/machinery float)
• Conduct general property observations.
• Follow the general guidelines when operating machinery.
• Maintain a clean and hygienic work environment.
• You will be required to undertake general station duties at the discretion of the manager.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience operating- Graders, Loaders, and Excavators is an advantage.
• MC license (Not essential, is an advantage).
• Appropriate licenses to operate the machinery.
• Good communicator and good time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to work both alone and as part of a team.
