With years of projects completed and more projects under construction and in the pipeline, an opportunity has presented within their in-house facilities team to manage the office operations of the maintenance team.
This opportunity is for a Maintenance Administrator to join their team on a full time basis in their Fortitude Valley head office.
The Role
This role will work closely with the Operations Manager to ensure that the facilities of all properties are well maintained, resourced and compliant.
You will work with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure that the office administration operations for the facilities team are well managed and relevant information is coordinated with the Body Corporate Committees of specific properties.
This role will include -
Oversee the coordination of trades to emergency and scheduled maintenance jobs
Liaise with Body Corporate Committees on quote approvals and maintenance queries
Preparation and follow up of work orders
Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders on defect rectification roles
Project management work
Oversee the handover of projects from the construction team at completion
Assist in the scheduling of internal and external workers
Compliance management including insurances and trade certifications
Auditing of invoices and expenditure budgets
Coordination of quality assurance checks
About You
In order to be successful in this role, you will be a highly motivated, client focused individual who is willing to work hard and be part of a supportive and collaborative team. You will also require -
Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role i.e. facilities, building management or Strata
Understanding of workings of a Body Corporate committee and strata management
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Time management skills
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to adapt and be flexible with changing deadlines
