Maintenance, Building Services & Groundskeeper - Full-time or Part-Time - Leading Industry Pay

Company Overview

Hubert Estate is a new hospitality venue, sitting on one of the oldest properties in the Yarra Valley. We opened the doors 2 years ago to a 300-guest restaurant, 200-guest event space, 150-guest cellar door, an art gallery, and a large outdoor amphitheatre, surrounded by vineyards.

Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced and autonomous worker, to take ownership of this large property. We hope to find someone who will play a pivotal role in ensuring the optimal upkeep of our grounds, while efficiently managing maintenance tasks in each of the venues on-site. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of presentation and functionality across all areas of our Estate.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Mowing, weeding and maintaining grounds
• Coordinate trades and liaise with suppliers on-site
• Day to day maintenance and repairs within all venues
• Routine maintenance and care of company equipment/assets
• Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of grounds, common areas & maintenance shed
• Monitor landscaping programs and other maintenance activities on-site and report to relevant stakeholders
• Conduct repairs to paths, carparks and driveways as necessary
• Check chemicals in treatment plant and top up as required (training provided)
• Monitor grounds for faults/issues and provide solutions

Note: The vineyard is managed separately and does not fall within the duties of the role
