Maintenance Electrician

About this Opportunity

We are looking for two maintenance electricians to join our team in South Brisbane, reporting to the maintenance manager you will be working on a rotating 4 day roster 2 x day and 2 x night (12 hours).

• Primary responsibility for providing electrical support to site
• SAP – entering all completed tasks and booking our spare parts
• 80% of PMs completed within the nominated timeframe
• All work to be completed in line with food safety requirements
• Ensure all electrical equipment is installed in compliance with AS3000.
• Make safety a priority and champion a safety culture with the team
• Regular interaction with Manufacturing and Logistics teams, Maintenance Team and Administration Teams
• Responsible for engineering support to standards and expectations
• Shift work required (4-on-4-off, 12 hours)

About You

• You obtain a relevant Trade Qualification
• Have proven problem solving including root cause analysis (5Why’s)
• Knowledge of PLC programming and Tetra Pak experience preferred
• Ability to interpret technical drawings
• Sound knowledge of hazards and emergency procedures
• Knowledge of high-speed equipment (FMCG)
• UHT/ESL experience advantageous
• Worked as an industrial electrician 3-5 years’ experience in FMCG manufacturing environment- preferably within Dairy Industry.
