Western Suburb Wacol location We are recruiting for a  Maintenance   Electrician  for  afternoon shift  to join the teamat our  Wacol  facility in the Western Suburbs of Brisbane. Our Client is one of the largest meat distributors in Australia and currently have vacancies for NEW or Experienced Q ualified Electricians  to perform breakdown and preventative maintenance on a range of semi and fully automated  packaging machinery  etc. This is a modern facility providing a variety of work for you. There will be a range of scheduled maintenance, breakdown work, fault finding/troubleshooting, commissioning of new machines, and installs/repairs. You will also be working closely/assisting with other maintenance staff onsite. Experience within the FMCG ideal

Site and Position Information:

Full time: Permanent Role 

Wacol Location: Brisbane Western Suburb

SHIFT: Afternoon shift - 2.30 PM to 11 PM - 15% shift loading for afternoon shift.

Monday to Friday + Weekend OT

What we are looking for:

Experience  with in the manufacturing industry  (Desired)

Exposure  to automation  (Essential)

Australian Trade Qualification as an Electrician  (Essential) 

Proven experience on both breakdown and preventative maintenance

Fault finding and problem solving skills and experience

Ability to work in a team environment

Commitment to quality and detail

Commitment to workplace health and safety

Ability to work within a cold environment  (Beat the Heat this SUMMER)

Ability to work to deadlines

Must have FULL Australian Working rights

Available Monday to Friday

Available for immediate start
