About the role

• Ensure smooth day-to-day hotel maintenance as necessary.
• Monday- Friday, 8am to 4pm 
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on the Hotel’s 
• General repairs in areas of carpentry, plastering, painting, basic low voltage electrical, plumbing, broken items & general utility skills (license not required)
• Coordinate and organise external trades & suppliers
• Prompt response to out-of-service rooms so they are back online for guest use
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair defective components
• Training can be provided for the right person

• Reliable and punctual work ethic
• Mechanically minded 
• Great customer service & communication skills
• Proactive & professional attitude towards working independently and in a team dynamic 
• Sound computer skills
• Adaptable & flexible to the daily needs of the hotel
• Working knowledge of general safety operations and procedures
• Previous experience as a handyperson is preferred however not essential as on-shift training can be provided.
