The Opportunity You will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and repair tasks around our retirement village. Working closely with the Community Manager, you will ensure our buildings & fixtures are well-maintained andpresentable. The ideal candidate needs to be friendly, approachable to residents, have the ability to work autonomously and have general maintenance or 'handyperson'experience.Located inBanoraPoint Retirement Village, you will be working in a tight-knit community where you will thrive in making our community a better place for residents! This new opportunity a part-time position working 3days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 07.30-15.00)

You will

You will attend to various maintenance requests to create a safe and pleasant environment for residents, visitors, staff and others
Liaise with stakeholders to ensure projects undertaken are safe, timely and completed to a high standard
Oversee maintenance work undertaken by Contractors within the community
Carry out preventative maintenance tasks around the community as per schedules
Be a friendly face to the residents and work alongside a fantastic team!
Please note - this is not a gardening role.

What you will bring

Experience in General Maintenance and 'Handyperson' roles(highly desired)
A warm & caring personality with an interest to make a difference every day
Valid driver's licence (required)
Current Police Check certificate (required, but if you do not have one, we can complete for you)
