Chat, laughter, and maybe a dash of Bold and Beautiful drama!

We’re looking for a friendly volunteer to share some company with a lovely community member who enjoys cooking, reality TV shows, The Bold and the Beautiful, keeping up with the news, and chatting about sports.

She’d love a visitor on Mondays around lunchtime for a relaxed catch-up, a chat about the week’s events, or even to swap a few favourite recipes or TV recommendations.

If you enjoy good conversation, a friendly atmosphere, and making someone’s day a little brighter, this could be a perfect way to give back.

Your impact

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.

HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.

Requirements

18 years or older • National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare •

We'd be happy to discuss a suitable time during the week for a one hour visit between 9am and 4pm Monday to Sunday, visits could be weekly to fortnightly depending on your availability.
