Management Accountant - Fuel and Hospitality Industry - Hiring Now

We are seeking a driven, commercially astute, and innovative Accountant to join the team based in our corporate Fremantle office. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an adaptable and dynamic individual to seek a rewarding and successful career within our group.
 
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller you will have a strategic mindset, with strong financial and analytical skills, able to communicate successfully and have the ability to work autonomously.
 
Responsibilities:

• Preparation of monthly financial reports covering balance sheet, profit and loss, internal management reports
• Managing general ledger including overseeing the monthly balance sheet, banking and intercompany reconciliations
• Liaise with and advise Site Management on site accounting and management issues to maximise financial returns and maintain or implement best practice management principles in the interest of stakeholders.
• Reconcile accounts including receivable and payable
• Maintaining fixed asset registers
• Support in Cashflow management
• Payroll for smaller entities
• Government reporting requirements which includes BAS, Payroll Tax and Superannuation
• Involved with forecasts and budgeting
• Projects when required

 
Key skills:

• Degree in Accounting, Business Studies, Economics or Management.
• Additional qualifications an advantage – CPA, CA
• Highly computer literate, including high proficiency using Excel spreadsheets.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Able to demonstrate problem solving skills
• Advanced financial analytical skills
• Ability to manage time and workload effectively
