Manager - AI Business Engagement

As Manager - AI Business Engagement, you'll play a key role in ensuring our AI Solutions team remains focused on solving the most valuable business problems in a structured, governed and outcome-driven way. You’ll be the main connection point between business stakeholders and AI Solutions, leading demand intake, shaping use cases, guiding initiatives through governance processes, and supporting value realisation across a portfolio of AI-enabled work.

Working across multiple concurrent initiatives, you'll partner with stakeholders across business, technology, data, governance and risk functions to assess opportunities, define success measures, manage competing priorities, and ensure initiatives are aligned with strategic objectives and regulatory expectations. You'll also help champion AI adoption and continuous improvement across processes, governance and ways of working.

This role is a permanent opportunity and is based in Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne. 

Day to day, you'll:
 

• Lead demand intake and engagement activities, helping business areas identify, refine and prioritise AI opportunities before they enter delivery.
• Assess potential use cases against strategic alignment, value, feasibility and risk considerations.
• Partner with stakeholders to define success measures and track benefits realisation beyond implementation.
• Provide clear communication and represent initiatives through governance and oversight forums.
• Support responsible AI adoption while maintaining alignment with risk, privacy, security and governance expectations.
• Contribute to ongoing improvements across AI operating models, governance procedures and prioritisation frameworks.

• You have proven experience translating business needs into clearly defined and actionable initiatives within data, digital or AI-enabled environments.
• Your ability to manage competing priorities across multiple initiatives allows you to make sound, evidence-based decisions.

• You're able to communicate complex technical concepts in a way that clearly demonstrates business value.
• You have experience working within governance, risk and compliance environments.
• Your communication, organisational and problem-solving skills help deliver measurable outcomes.
• You'll bring a genuine passion for AI, emerging technologies and continuous learning.
• You're experienced within financial services, superannuation or another highly regulated industry, or can demonstrate transferable experience.
• You have familiarity with AI, machine learning, GenAI concepts and enterprise AI governance practices.
• Your experience includes working within agile or hybrid delivery environments.
