About the role


 


Are you an experienced delivery leader who can turn strategy into successful data and analytics outcomes? We are seeking a collaborative and commercially minded Manager, Analytics Delivery to lead the end-to-end delivery of data products, analytics solutions, and strategic initiatives that deliver measurable business value.


 


In this role, you will combine strong project and program management capabilities with stakeholder leadership to drive the successful delivery of complex, cross-functional data initiatives.


 


You will lead multidisciplinary teams, influence senior stakeholders, remove delivery barriers, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with organisational priorities.

About you -


You are a proactive and autonomous delivery leader who thrives in complex environments. You can confidently influence without direct authority, negotiate priorities across multiple stakeholders, and translate technical delivery into meaningful business outcomes.


 The right candidate will have:



  • Proven leadership of multidisciplinary teams spanning data engineering, analytics, visualisation, testing, architecture, and business stakeholders to drive end-to-end data product delivery

  • Track record of leading enterprise-wide data, analytics, business intelligence, or digital transformation projects, ensuring alignment with strategic business outcomes

  • Working knowledge of Azure Data Lake platform, SQL Data Warehouse, Power BI, and Microsoft Fabric, including data ingestion, storage, and visualisation capabilities

  • Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, master data management, and compliance requirements to ensure secure, high-quality analytics solutions

  • Experience in risk management within Agile data analytics environments, with the ability to identify and mitigate delivery impediments proactively

  • Solid knowledge of dimensional modelling and solution architecture principles

  • Hands-on familiarity with release planning and management processes, collaborating closely with Release Engineers to ensure smooth deployment cycles

  • Strong capability to influence and engage senior stakeholders, facilitate collaboration, and negotiate priorities across competing demands

  • Comprehensive knowledge of project and program management methodologies, including PMBOK/PMP, Agile, Scrum, and hybrid approaches, to govern delivery frameworks effectively

  • Experience managing project governance artefacts such as RAID registers, delivery roadmaps, benefits realisation tracking, financial management, and executive reporting

  • Advanced commercial acumen managing budgets, forecasting, vendor contracts, and performance to deliver value within financial constraints

  • Excellent communication skills to articulate strategic impacts, delivery risks, and business value clearly to both technical teams and executives

  • Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Azure DevOps, Jira, and Confluence

  • Demonstrated ability to foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and delivery excellence across teams



 


Essential requirements of the role


 



  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and/or equivalent industry experience.

  • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile Certified Practitioner).

  • A valid working with children checks.

  • Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
