Your new role An opportunity exists for two Business Services professionals to join the team at different levels:
Assistant ManagerWorking closely with Managers, you will support the delivery of accounting, taxation, and advisory services across a varied client portfolio. The role involves preparing and reviewing financial statements and tax returns, assisting with tax planning and advisory work, coordinating workflows, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
ManagerReporting to a senior leader, you will manage a significant client portfolio and provide high-value accounting, taxation, and advisory services. You will lead client relationships, oversee workflow and lodgements, deliver strategic advice, coach and develop team members, and contribute to business development and firm growth initiatives.
Both roles play a key part in delivering exceptional client outcomes and developing a high-performing team.Both roles work closely with senior leaders and are integral to delivering high-quality outcomes for clients.
What you'll need to succeed - CA or CPA qualification (or near completion for Assistant Manager level)
- Solid public practice experience in business services
- Strong technical capability across accounting, tax compliance, and advisory
- Experience using cloud-based accounting systems (e.g. Xero and related tools)
- Ability to manage deadlines, workflows, and competing priorities
- Strong communication skills and a client-focused mindset
- Leadership capability or demonstrated potential to mentor and develop others
