Manager Assurance (Temporary opportunity for up to 12 months)

You’re ready to play an essential role behind the scenes by providing vital support, ensuring seamless project execution, and playing a pivotal role in shaping the future of transportation.

In this role, you'll:

• Lead the development and implementation of a risk-based assurance framework across bus operator accreditation schemes.


• Monitor compliance, identify emerging risks and trends, and recommend targeted audits, education and regulatory interventions.


• Analyse audit findings, assurance data and Safety Management System performance to support evidence-based decision making.


• Drive the implementation of a new Digital Assurance Tool to support consistent assurance and regulatory practices.


• Partner with operators, auditors, industry representatives and internal stakeholders to improve compliance outcomes and safety performance.

About you

You are an experienced assurance, audit or risk professional with the ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical assurance activities and compliance outcomes.

You will bring:

• Experience in assurance, audit, risk management or regulatory compliance.


• Strong capability in developing and applying risk-based assurance frameworks.


• Experience identifying compliance risks and delivering targeted audit and education programs.


• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret assurance, compliance and performance data.


• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with experience partnering across technical, operational and regulatory environments.


• Experience in regulated, safety-critical or compliance-focused industries.
