  • Leading workforce planning to support future service delivery

  • Supporting organisational change and transformation

  • Managing industrial relations and enterprise agreement matters

  • Strengthening health, safety and wellbeing across the organisation

  • Using data and insights to inform decisions and improvements

  • Supporting teams to confidently respond to increasingly complex community needs

Why this role matters

This role plays a key part in delivering our Library Plan. You’ll help build a workforce that enables us to respond to changing community needs and continue delivering high-quality, inclusive services across the region.

About you

You’re a practical, people-focused leader who can balance strategy with delivery.

You bring:

  • Strong generalist HR experience and leadership capability

  • Experience working in a unionised environment

  • Confidence partnering with senior leaders

  • Sound judgement and a solutions-focused mindset

  • A genuine commitment to inclusion, equity and continuous improvement

Why join us?

  • Work in a genuinely values-driven organisation

  • Be part of an engaged and supportive leadership team

  • Lead a strong, well-regarded P&C function

  • Play a key role in a period of organisational change and transformation

  • Contribute to meaningful outcomes for our community
