The College is currently seeking to appoint a talented and enthusiastic Mandarin Teacher to support our students as we grow young people of faith, character, and purpose.

Deliver engaging Mandarin language lessons that build students’ skills in speaking, listening, reading, writing, and cultural understanding.
Integrate Chinese culture meaningfully into lessons through stories, festivals, traditions, and real-world contexts.
Understanding of how to differentiate learning to cater for diverse needs
Mentor and guide students to help them better understand their purpose
About you:
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate at interview a personal faith and commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ and a lifestyle consistent with that faith, including an active commitment to a Christian fellowship, as well as the following skills and experience:
Ability to deliver engaging Mandarin language lessons that build students’ proficiency in speaking, reading, writing, and cultural understanding.
be a highly committed professional and have a desire make a difference in the lives of students
be an excellent classroom practitioner, communicator and have solid classroom management skills.
be committed to academic excellence with high expectations of students
possess strong interpersonal skills, valuing relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
collaborate with colleagues in developing integrated learning experiences for junior students
be committed to their own professional learning and growth
be pastorally minded and comfortable with sharing their faith
have an understanding of the wellbeing needs of adolescents
be willing to actively contribute to the co-curricular life of the College
Please note that EAL/D (ESL) teaching qualifications would be an advantage.
