GrainCorp is currently seeking a Manufacturing Manager, based at our Pinjarra site, to oversee operational requirements of the site. The responsibility of the role will include:

 

• Manage production teams and support functions to deliver seamless operation to ensure quality products are made safely and delivered to customers on time
• Sustainability, including Waste reduction, identifying new opportunities/efficiencies
• Waste reduction by identifying new opportunities/efficiencies
• Quality management

About your experience
Candidates will display prior experience in manufacturing or FMCG as well as strong people management and leadership skills. Candidates will also demonstrate:

 

• Regulatory compliance and OH&S knowledge.
• Experience with implementation of continuous Improvement/lean methodologies
• Ability to drive positive team engagement in HSE behaviour and processes
• Logical, analytical & problem-solving abilities
• Mechanical aptitude (tertiary qualification in engineering would be preferred by not required)

Please note that this is a 24 hour site and while this is not a shift role there is an on-call element to the role.
