About the company:

Our client is a pharmaceutical manufacturing organisation located in the Southeastern suburbs of Melbourne. They are seeking a Manufacturing Operator to join their team on a casual ongoing basis with potential to go permanent.

This position is for the Night Shift (11pm – 7:30am)

About the role:

Reporting to the Manufacturing Supervisor, your responsibilities include:

• Washing of production equipment (i.e. Washbay operating)
• Dispensing raw materials and operating specialized machinery to manufacture pharmaceutical products
• Following SOPs and complying with the highest standards of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)
• Completing the relevant documentation including manufacturing methods and batch records
• Cleaning and sanitizing equipment, containers and utensils
• Performing material handling duties as required
• Reporting any quality issues to the Team Leader or Supervisor
• Assisting with training of staff
• Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene of the manufacturing area

Essential Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Manufacturing, Blending or Washbay Operator within the Pharmaceutical Industry (highly regarded)
• Excellent attention to detail and time management
• Outstanding work ethic and attitude
• Great communication skills with the ability to work as part of a team
